This month, we’ll kick off the new HVRP year with a discussion of some of the core aspects of HVRP operations, including outreach to veterans, career exploration and development, and working with partners. We invite both new and seasoned staff and grantees to share their questions and insights. Questions to consider include:
• How do you effectively outreach to veterans who are eligible for HVRP, and who are interested in career development services?
• How do you work with the veterans to explore their career options, and apply for opportunities that are a good fit for their skills, interests, and aspirations?
• What partnerships are most important to you in maintaining a successful HVRP grant?
• How has COVID-19 changed the way you do business?Finally, we encourage you to bring your questions to the table – what insight and information would you most like to hear from others in HVRP?
