VETS’ Employer Guide to Hiring Veterans

The Department of Labor has approved the VETS’ Employer Guide to Hiring Veterans.  This intent of this guide is to provide accurate information about service member and veteran demographics; share federal, state and other resources for employers to facilitate veteran employment; and make recommendations on how to attract, train, and retain veterans. Many thanks to the Regional Veterans Employment Coordinators who drafted this Guide.  To complement the guide, Laurel Devine recently published a blog to encourage employers to hire Veterans, “Strengthen Your Workforce: Hire Veterans.”
